With the recent news of two St. Louis teen's unfortunate murders, the news about Cart Mover Minnetonka has been flooded with comments and criticism. The public outcry for banning the company supplying these services to Minnetonka MS is unfounded. The company is licensed to do business in Minnetonka. They have kept the offices open.
People should be focused on the fact that Cart Mover Minnetonka MS is not at fault. What happened to the families in St. Louis, however, is.
So why has the media coverage focused on the St. Louis families, when the victims were innocent? This is because the victims were black, and the news was feeding off of racial animus.
The news media has been doing this since the 1960's, but now it seems the fear of losing its government funding has become the driving force behind their reporting. Are they aware that there are a lot more black babies being born in Minnesota than white babies?
I mean, they don't get a free pass when they report about the tragedy in Minnetonka MS. Why? Because they are playing right into the hands of racial anxiety.
The media has become so political that they are using a tragedy to bring racial fear into the black community and as well as instilling the fear in white families. Instead of trying to make us feel better, maybe the media would like to focus on black children being born in greater numbers in Minnetonka MN. Because this is much more troubling to them.
Of course, it would be great if all media reports were based on fact, but since the victims were black, they decided to focus on the St. Louis families, and try to blame the tragedy on black violence. They are playing right into the hands of racial issues.
What happens if the Cart Mover Minnetonka MS is found guilty of this crime? Will they be shut down? If this were a white-on-black crime, the answer would be "No."
After all, who will want to open up a company like Cart Mover Minnetonka MS? Will they be rejected by other businesses? Will it hurt their tax paying customers?
Do you know how easy it is to shut down a business when people realize they are not supposed to play the race card? It doesn't take much. And it is too late for the St. Louis families.
You can't blame the Cart Mover Minnetonka MS for what happened in St. Louis. Just remember that you can play the race card just as easily. Think about it, and then decide.
